Research description
My PhD work was to develop a new atmospheric numerical model for ultra-high resolution simulations at horizontal grid intervals of less than 100 meters. I am particularly interested in the representation of topography using Cartesian cut cell grids to handle highly-resolved complex topography in mountainous areas. For my post-doc, I am focussing on 3D cut-cell modeling.
